Natural Resource Management (NRM)

SDF is focusing on opportunities for environmental improvement and sustainability by promoting better protection, conservation or management of natural resources will enhance the delivery of environmental services by communities. Impact will often depend on measures to improve community access to, and local control over, the resource base. SDF is working for indigenous community, which depend or source of livelihood on natural resource. Major focus area is rangeland conservation, improving livelihood programs through NRM interventions. SDF has installed 15 solar energy units and four Biogas plants in various villages of desert area of Sanghar with the support of WWF- Pakistan and Pakistan Council for Renewable Energy and Technologies (PCRET) Islamabad.
