Introduction

Sustainable Development Foundation (SDF) is a right based non-governmental organization established on 10th January 2004 by group of committed development professionals. SDF is registered under the Society Act -1860 and governed by a highly motivated and an autonomous Board of Directors (BOD) who have taken many initiatives that support community members to build capacity to work for their own development and rights.

SDF opposes all forms of discrimination and respects the rights and dignity of the people, irrespective of ethnic, social, religious or political differences, gives priority to meeting the needs of most vulnerable communities, especially women and children, regards the language and culture of the communities. With the passage of time, SDF realized and recognized the importance of organizational development and taken initiatives which could support SDF to create larger and lasting impact of its intervention.
